Welcome to Neurology at Severn Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME).
The excellent training programme consists of a 5 year ST3-ST7 training programme in neurology based in the North part of the Southwest of England. It is a great place to live, train and work.
It is expected that all trainees will spend at least 2 years based at the regional neurosciences centre in Southmead Hospital (part of North Bristol NHS Trust) and 2 years at other centres in the rotation.
The programme offers very good opportunities for training in neurology with supervised exposure to general outpatient, inpatient and liason neurology, stroke medicine and emergency on-call neurology.
There are excellent opportunities for further sub-specialist training and research.
